Sofia Forrest-Turner, 20, is an unstoppable force, driven by her boundless determination and unyielding dedication to making a difference. Overcoming the challenges of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, she founded a non-profit organization to raise awareness about this rare disorder. Sofia, freshman, has flourished at the University of California, Berkeley, immersing herself in the studies of molecular environmental biology and French. She aspires to attend veterinary school and work as a marine life veterinarian, a path inspired by her prolific traveling and hobbies as a scuba diver and lifeguard. At Berkeley Sofia shines as a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and the Cal Dance Team. She dances at school sporting events and recently took her talents to the national level where she competed in the D1A division at UDA Nationals.

Fluent in French and Mandarin Chinese, she has achieved national recognition for her academic abilities and has also established her own successful business, “Sofia’s Soap Lab,” empowering women to pursue entrepreneurship. Alongside her ventures, Sofia embraces her passion for music and art, playing the piano and expressing herself through acrylic painting. Her creative side also thrives through her work as a model and content creator; walking runways and being featured in several magazines. She recently walked the Miss All American stage where she placed in the top 15 and was crowned Miss California All American.
